Stats not shown correctly on language variants

It seems that stats on language variants from Page View to Browser Breakdown are the stats of its English wiki, as I tested on minecraft-zh.--Ff98sha (talk) 01:22, 28 June 2018 (UTC)

Yeah. See the FAQ section: "Currently all language variant wikis traffic statistics are lumped together with the EN wiki. We are looking at ways to split these out to provide meaningful information to these communities. The edit, search, and editor statistics are unique to that wiki." -Xbony2 (talk) 15:44, 28 June 2018 (UTC)

Search Functionality

Perhaps I'm not understanding correctly about how to use it, but when viewing the search log, which filters by dates not term, if more than 50 results appear within a specified date period then no further results can be viewed. Instead by advancing a page for more results it defaults to the non-specified date filter.--FencerTJ (talk) 23:43, 9 July 2018 (UTC)

Date format

What format are the date fields in the Special:SearchLog page expecting? --Fig bucket (talk) 16:56, 8 March 2019 (UTC)

YYYY-mm-dd should work (e.g., 2019-03-08). --Pcj (T·C) 19:39, 8 March 2019 (UTC)

Number of items in the top viewed pages section

Would it be possible to i.e. add some sort of show more button that'd allow to see another 20 items on the list? This functionality has given some very useful insight in how well my community receives different content and which content that is associated with it should be added/expanded upon. However, since this functionality includes items such as the main page and category pages (which are the main way to browse through content in our wiki) the current number of items is quite limiting. --Krschkr (talk) 16:43, 24 July 2019 (UTC)

Perhaps for a v2 of the dashboard. Until then, contact your wiki manager and they should be able to provide the data. --Pcj (T·C) 16:46, 24 July 2019 (UTC)
Thanks, will do. --Krschkr (talk) 16:57, 24 July 2019 (UTC)

Is there any way to access data from previous months so admins could observe the activity and interest development? I could start saving one data sheet per month to my local drive, but that would be a quite unelegant solution and not tell anything about the last few months for which I don't have backup data. --Krschkr (talk) 16:43, 24 July 2019 (UTC)

Not currently; again, contact your wiki manager. --Pcj (T·C) 16:46, 24 July 2019 (UTC)

Feedback 2020-07-02 (requested on Discord)

Today I found out the logged-out vs. logged-in editor graph on minecraft-en and minecraft-ru showed all days as having 0 logged-out edits, which is not true as there were quite a bit of edits (and blocks) on IPs (the game got a major new update very recently, and views spiked).

Magiczocker found that analytics on minecraft-de showed the two visitor pie charts (device type and browser breakdowns) as empty, as if there were no visitors. Minecraft-en showed the active editors list as empty, as if the wiki were a ghost town. It's as if some inputs to analytics incorrectly and inconsistently (across wikis) zero out at times. --AttemptToCallNil (talk) 15:52, 2 July 2020 (UTC)

Show bots vs human edits as separate lines

The trend lines on Leaguepedia aren't that useful, since it just tells me which days I made batch edits or not. Showing a line of human edits only would be very helpful! --RheingoldRiver (talk) 16:06, 2 July 2020 (UTC)

Too long titles in "Most visited files" silently overflow

and don't show the complete title. No word wrapping, no scroll bar. overflow: hidden Example on minecraft-ru. Sorry if this was reported before. --AttemptToCallNil (talk) 16:17, 2 July 2020 (UTC)
