Why is Exvius Wiki moving to Gamepedia?
Gamepedia, owned by Curse Media, is the largest collection of gaming-related wikis on the web. Being part of Gamepedia will help Exvius Wiki provide the best tools and support to our users, as well as the best possible experience from a hosting perspective.
How will the move process affect the wiki?
Starting around 11am EST/8am PST on January 31, the original Exvius Wiki will be put into read-only mode. Once the database has been fully transferred to the new site at https://exvius.gamepedia.com, users will be redirected. This process is expected to take 2–4 hours, during which time all information will be accessible, but no edits can be made to the wiki.
What will happen to my Exvius Wiki account?
You Exvius Wiki account will no longer be able to be used to log into the wiki. You will need to register a new account through Gamepedia in order to log into the wiki after the move is complete.
How can I claim my old edits from before the move?
Gamepedia staff will be helping to connect old edit histories with new accounts. Once you have registered a new account through Gamepedia, you can use this form to submit your two account names to be merged. Merge requests will be processed on a weekly basis until the end of February (2/28/17). After that date, you will need to visit Gamepedia Support and submit a ticket including your old Exviuswiki.com username and your new Curse/Gamepedia username.
