Talk: DPL3/Dplvar

The page says "The variables can be set and retrieved from an article page or from templates used in that article." How exactly do you dplvar:set to a template parameter? {{#dplvar:set|v1|{Template1}:2}} gives "{Template1}:2" for v1, not the value of the parameter.
